Registration open – Quant Careers 2016
Quants@VU in cooperation with TopQuants and EY invite you on
November 4, 2016, to the
QUANT CAREERS 2016 MINISYMPOSIUM
We welcome all quant finance professionals, students and graduates to attend this exciting event.
The theme of this year’s symposium is “Quants and Risk”. We are happy to have two exciting invited speakers who will address this theme from different perspectives:
- Ingrid Gacci, Head of Accounting, Operations and Compliance at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, Amsterdam, will talk about the risk of money laundering, a practical approach of dealing with this risk, based on scenario analysis, and a comparison in this respect between the Netherlands and Italy;
- Esther Mollema, the founder of leadership consultancy firm Direction and a prominent figure in the area of leadership, diversity and team development, will talk about why risk is your best friend in work and life.
Furthermore, the Best Quant Finance Thesis Award 2016 will be awarded during this event. The three finalists will pitch their quant thesis and the winner will be decided and announced.
The day will conclude with drinks, food and plenty of opportunities for informal networking.
