TopQuants in cooperation with Quants.NL and EY announce the 10th anniversary edition of the

EUROPEAN BEST QUANT FINANCE THESIS AWARD

Call for submission

Master graduates and their supervisors are invited to submit high quality MSc theses in any topic in quantitative finance, e.g., market, credit and operational risk, derivatives, financial markets modelling, fintech, data analytics, as well as topics in pension industry, asset management and insurance. Graduates of any MSc program in EU can submit their work; academic or industry supervisors also can submit outstanding theses on behalf of the graduate

All submitted theses must have a clear quantitative finance focus, contain high quality original theoretical and/or empirical work and the thesis must be finalized in the period between April 1, 2023 and September 1, 2024.

An additional special focus award this year will be awarded to the best thesis in the area of Climate Risk / Climate Finance.

The deadline for submission is August 31st, 2024, 23:59 CET.

The three finalists will be chosen by the jury of top quant finance professionals. These three finalists, as well as the three finalists from the last year’s edition, will present their work and the winner of the 2024 award will be decided at the jubileum Quant Careers Symposium which will be held in Amsterdam in November 2024.

As always, the author of the winning thesis will receive the award of €2500.
