AI Perspectives – Present Applications and Future Innovations
We are happy to announce that our next TopQuants Spring Event will be held on the 23rd of June 2025, in the afternoon, at Booking.com’s headquarters in Amsterdam. The theme of the event will be AI Perspectives – Present Applications and Future Innovations.
As in previous Spring events, there will be a plenary program with different speakers, and we will cover the topic from a perspective of interest to the typical TopQuants audience. Our speakers for this event are:
- Pranav Pathak – Director of Product, Machine Learning at Booking.com: Challenges and Solutions for the Democratisation of GenAI
- Frans van Bruggen – Senior Policy Officer FinTech & Artificial Intelligence at DNB: The Role of Financial Regulatory Agencies in Supervising Algorithmic Fairness in Transaction Monitoring
- Anna Lőrincz and Theresa Fruhwürth – (Senior) Data Scientists at ABN AMRO: Fighting money laundering at ABN AMRO using language models: how to do it right
After the three presentations the speakers will join the stage in a panel to discuss the present applications and future innovations of AI, where the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions. As usual, we will conclude the event with an informal networking session, drinks & bites.
This year, our Spring event is sponsored by Booking.com and will be held at their head office at Oosterdokskade near Amsterdam Central.
