TopQuants and Probability & Partners announce the 2025 edition of the

EUROPEAN BEST QUANT FINANCE THESIS AWARD

 

Master of Science graduates and their supervisors are invited to submit high quality MSc theses in any topic in quantitative finance, e.g., market, credit, and operational risk, derivatives, financial markets modelling, ML/AI, data analytics, as well as topics in the pension industry, asset management, and insurance. Graduates of any MSc program can submit their work; academic or industry supervisors can also submit outstanding theses on behalf of the graduate.

All submitted theses must have a clear quantitative finance focus, contain high quality original theoretical and/or empirical work, and the thesis must be finalized in the period between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025.

The deadline for submission is August 31st, 2025, 23:59 CET.

The three finalists will be chosen by the jury of top quant finance professionals. These three finalists will present their work, and the winner of the 2025 award will be decided at the next Quant Careers Symposium, which will be held in Amsterdam in November 2025. The laureates will be invited to present at TopQuant symposium.

As always, the author of the winning thesis will receive the award of €2500.
